Quick family update: The advance team has landed!
My wife and dog Tilly have officially taken occupancy of our new house. While they’re probably figuring out which room gets the best Wi-Fi signal, I’m here playing tetris with the last of our belongings and sweet-talking a skip that’s currently decorating our driveway.
The single pull-out bed is going next – and here’s the mad bit: within an hour of mentioning it, I had 12 people sliding into my DMs asking “Can I have it?” Mental. But fair enough – it’ll be available for pickup this Sunday, first come first served.
Split-family logistics aside, it’s actually happening. New house, new neighbourhood, new adventures for all four of us.
